At Broomhill Dental, we want to build lasting relationships with our patients. We will be getting to know your teeth intimately, so let us start start by introducing our dentists...
Adam Watt
Practice Partner, GDC No. 131118
My primary aim at Broomhill is to welcome each patient and to put at ease those patients who dread a visit to the dentists. I pride myself on being sympathetic, caring and happy to listen to the needs of my patients. I enjoy my work immensely; whether it’s a simple and straightforward case or more complex procedures. I offer treatment of a very high standard. Since graduating with a BDS Degree from Glasgow University in 2007 I have continued to upgrade my qualifications in areas such as teeth alignment, cosmetic dentistry and the restoration of dental implants. As of 2021, I’m studying towards an MSc in Endodontology which is the study of root canal treatment. I am now accepting endodontic referrals. Outwith dentistry, my wife and I just had a beautiful little girl called Etta who you might hear me mention!
Robert McKernon
Practice Partner, GDC No. 114043
Since qualifying from the University of Glasgow in 2007 with a BDS degree, I have dedicated my time to postgraduate training in-order to provide the latest technologies and techniques. I really enjoy all aspects of dental treatment but have a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and the ability to restore someone's confidence to smile. I have also attained certification in several facial aesthetic courses. This means as well as dentistry I also treat patients with anti-wrinkle injections and fillers. These allow me to reduce the size of wrinkles and change the shape and size of lips. At Broomhill Dental we are committed to providing the perfect smile makeover; my patents benefit from restored dental implants and implant retained dentures, plus recent training in crown lengthening ensures you have everything you need for that smile transformation. I am an experienced Invisalign provider, the system is less painful than braces and nearly invisible leaving you to get on with your life whilst creating the perfect smile in as little as 3 months. I also have hundreds of patients who benefit from my training in Bioclear - the advanced cosmetic bonding process gives you a perfectly youthful smile. I have spent the last two years developing my skills and knowledge working towards my diploma in contemporary restorative and aesthetic dentistry with Dominic Hassall. A lot of people dread coming to see the dentist and I firmly believe in trying to make the visit as stress free as possible - I look forward to meeting you.

Dentist, GDC No. 77599
I graduated from Glasgow University with a BDS Degree in 2000 and have over 20 years experience in General Practice in both England and Scotland. My approach is relaxed, informative and professional. I strive to offer predictable, aesthetic dentistry that looks good and lasts well for her patients. I believe in educating and supporting my patients to make choices that benefit their mouths and also their overall wellbeing. I hold full membership with the British Society of Occlusal Studies, a select group with a special interest in headaches, neck and shoulder pain and other common problems that can occur for patients through poor jaw relationships and poor function. In many instances patients may not be aware of the damage that is being done to their teeth or dental work from having a poor bite. I also facilitate training courses to help educate fellow professionals in this area. I'm keen on postgraduate education and have a strong commitment to lifelong learning. This commitment is to my own learning and progression as a dental professional, and also allows me to offer the best evidence-based techniques and solutions to dental problems. I gained the postgraduate MFGDP qualification in 2002 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Outside dentistry, I enjoy travelling and exploring the outdoors. I'm a keen walker and enjoys the peaks of mountains as well as a walk around the local park. I also have an interest in yoga and teach yoga classes and workshops in Glasgow.

Dental Therapist, GDC No. 218683
I have worked in dentistry for 7 years now, originally as a Dental Nurse, where I discovered my love of Dentistry and the importance of caring for your oral health. I decided to progress by studying to become a Dental Therapist, qualifying in 2021 from Caledonian University, Glasgow. Hygiene is currently my main focus. My role is to assess patient's oral health, treat disease, and promote good oral health practice by providing oral health instruction tailored to each individual. I enjoy attending courses as often as I can to ensure my skills are up to date with current guidance. As a person who was once dentally anxious myself, I strive to provide a high standard of care, helping patients feel as comfortable as possible. When I'm not working, I'm most likely to be spending time with my dog, reading or relaxing with friends and family.
